Acts 2:42, "And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers."

"He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second."
The emblems in the foreground are juxtaposed in their simplicity with the very complex tabernacle and all its trappings. "Only bread and only wine..." as the hymn goes, but what deep, rich meanings they have to the believer.

This We Believe
There is one God. He is the creator of all things, infinite, perfect, eternally existing in three Persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the second person of the Godhead. He was virgin born, lived a sinless life, died for ours sins, was buried and rose again. He ascended bodily into Heaven, is enthroned at God's right hand as our Great High Priest and is coming again to Earth, first to receive His own, and then to reign.
All men need to be saved. Salvation is a free gift of God that was purchased by Christ's death at Calvary. It cannot be earned, because it is of grace. It must be personally accepted by faith in Christ.
The Lord Jesus Christ left two ordinances with His church (a body composed of all those who have placed their faith in Him); Baptism and the Lord's Supper.
